This is a film about Hollywood - what it is, what it isn’t, what it is fantasized to be, and how what’s imagined can sometimes be more compelling than what is actually there. On a long dark night lit only by a moon that is slowly being eclipsed, an exotic dancer watches a black-and-white noir film about the heist of a famous statue that is hidden in the Hollywood Hills. But is she in fact the viewer of the film, or is she its star? And is the statue truly fictional, or is it in fact hidden somewhere in contemporary Griffith Park?
